I messed up

Dont you hate it when, time after time, you hear this phrase in your head? For alot of us, this three letter phrase never reaches our lips, but its still there as if someone were screaming it in our face.
Were supposed to be Christians, right? "Christ like" is what were supposed to be. But, theres one problem. Jesus never sinned. Thus, Jesus had no reason to say "I messed up". So what do we do? We cant follow Jesus in this situation because he was never IN this situation. Do we just say, "well, ok. Jesus never did this, so I give up" Ha.
"Jesus, I love you. I praise you. You are so mighty and wonderful. You are worthy of every single thing I could ever give. You are my lord and my God. Dear God, please give me the strength. You know my situation, you know what I did. And you know Im down in the dirt right now. I know your capable of moving the Heavens and the earth with a single word, You created. You can add and take away. I pray that you give me strength to stand back up. To stand and for me to learn from my mistakes. make me strnger because of this fall. Dear Lord, You are my Savior. Save me from this storm I pray. In Jesus name. Amen."

That, my friend, is what you pray when you've fallen. I've heard it said before that the only thing that is different from a regular Christian, and a outstanding Christain is WHEN the outstanding Christian falls, he knows the first thing he is going to do is get back up.
Get back up, dust yourself off, laugh a little in Satans face, and go back to Walking under the wing of the Almighty.

Lucifer Profiling

Since the day Satan was kicked out of heaven, he’s been working on the fall of man. And in the garden of Eden, he succeeded in getting Gods precious creation to fall into his snare. That was quite a victory for Satan. In fact, it was such a victory, that every human being is born into sin because of it.
Satan’s victory in the Garden of Eden was so huge, that he made quite a name for himself, and he realized that he could use this to his advantage. To this day, Satan continues to work on his renown, and he has become quite good at it. He’s become so good at keeping himself in the back of humans brains that, in fact, little children even know about him and the deeds he does.
The Bible says that our flesh and spirit are constantly at battle. (Romans 7:19)And it true. Any human being can attest to the fact that their flesh wants one thing while so many times their spirits are pulling in the complete opposite direction. Satan loves this, and uses it to his advantage more than we think.
“Satan is bad” “Satan is evil” “Satan made me do it”- These are all thoughts that come through our mind at times, and why do you think we do that? Because Satan has trained the human mind to attest all evil things and all things bad to him. THAT IS NOT TRUE. Why?
Remember when I said that we are all born in sin? And that our flesh and spirit constantly war against each other? If the spirit is good, and wants to do all things good, and our flesh wars with our spirit, then our flesh has to be something other than good right?
We give Satan way too much credit. He has worked on getting his name out there for so long that we. As humans, begin to think thoughts that we think ourselves and give credit to Satan for whispering them in our ear.
“Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” I can take this as a double meaning. Satan? Yeah of course. What’s in us Christians is so much more powerful than anything Satan can even imagine to posses. The other thing that is in us is US. Humans. God, who lives inside us Holy Ghost Filled people, is more powerful than our flesh! Stop giving Satan all the credit for those thoughts, and stop thinking your getting picked on. A lot of times, we don’t need ANY help from Satan to concoct our own evil thoughts. We can do it all by ourselves.
So stop giving Satan all the credit. He’s not as powerful as his reputation says he is. Remember, “greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Our main battle is with our flesh. We live with our flesh, so we have to deal with it 24/7. Satan is not omnipresent, so he has to make his rounds before getting to us again, thus making Satan enemy number two. When you think about it, its kind of sad that Satan tried to be God, and got kicked out of heaven for it. And when he became evil and let himself be humankinds enemy, he still has the second place ribbon.

My first blog paired with a poem.

Yet another one of my poems. I like this one. So many times God comes in to save the day at the right time.

MY ALL

I look at my life,
While in my hand, I hold this jagged knife.
Nothing seems to matter,
My fragile existence about to shatter.
I put my arm to the blade,
My heart, seemingly betrayed.
As I prepare to end it all,
My Gods voice does so softly call.
A voice, I once knew so well,
A voice, inside my soul still does dwell.
He calls me by name,
My sacrifice He became.
He lifts my head, Reminds me, it was for me He bled.
Lovingly, He reminds me,
I have my place in the last Jubilee.
He, once again, reaches down,
His presence enveloping me all around.
The blade falls to the floor,
Into my heart, His mercy He does pour.
Tears begin to fall,
And I tell Him once again, I give Him my all.
